Where to Start?
So things around here have been fun and exciting. Caden & Halle are both in soccer classes right now. Even though I think I get more exercise than Halle because her class is parent participation. There is only one other little girl in her class. The coach, the other mom and I will be crawling on the floor or kicking the balls while Halle & Payton sit and watch. I dont think the parent participation is a good thing, at least not for my kids. They do much better under someone else's direction in classes. Caden is doing great in his class even though he is telling me every week that he doesnt want to go to soccer anymore. I tell him he has to finish up the session and then he can do something else if he wants. He had Coach Bree last session and loved her and now doesnt want to go since she is not his coach. I have also signed both kids up for Gymnastics. Caden is going to an actually gymnastics gym and has gone once and loved it. Halle is going to start next month at one of the city community centers. (I hope it is not parent participation again!) So we will see how that all goes. They are growing up so fast. Halle is talking up a storm and the world is just not enough for this girl. She wants everything and wants it her way. I guess typical 2 year old. Caden is just getting to be so big. The other day he got in trouble for pushing Halle down so I sent him to Time Out. Once he got in the Time Out chair he turned and said to me "WHY DO YOU TREAT ME LIKE A DOG?" I have no idea where that came from but I had to go in the other room to laugh.
I am going to try this
OK, so everyone else seems to have a blog, so I thought I would try it. Sometimes when it comes to technology, I feel somewhat old and out of date. How did that happen?? I am doing this blog so that I can have record of the kids growing up. I know it is late to start as Caden just turned 4 and Halle is about to turn 2, but I guess better late than never. So everyone bear with me in the experiment of blogging.
